Panel Glides are the newest blinds and one the most popular blind on the market, and are mainly installed over sliding glass doors. They are able to cover areas over 6m.
Panel glides fabric can be a REAL feature or can be neutral to the house.
Fabric available in block out, light filtering and translucent. My favourite is light filtering, which is still a full block out for privacy, however it allows a small amount of natural light in but not enough to effect the TV screen.
The panels can be dressed up with timber battens to match your timber decor, or you can use aluminium battens that come in a range of colour to match your other items in the house.
Panels can be made from sizes as small as 200 mm and up to and over 1000 mm
Panel glides are extremely easy to operate, as there very little moving parts.
They are also good for investment properties

These are great blinds to allow light and breezes through the doorway and are more specifically suited to sliding glass doorways.
In comparison to Vertical Drapes, there are no chains or cords and damage is limited as there are few parts involved in these blinds. They usually include a timber pelmet over the top head rail. Panel Glides can be a real feature in a room.
